Please see below advice from Wodonga Hyphen Library about a Halve Waste event being held at Hyphen. U3A always has significant interest from members when bus trips to the Transfer Station are organised, so we thought you may be interested in registering for the events below.
I wanted to send through some information about some sessions we’ve got coming up next week for Science Week – I wondered if perhaps some of your U3A group members would be interested in attending?
We’re working with Halve Waste to host two information sessions next Wednesday 13 August. They’re at 10-11 and 11:30-12:30, and we’ll provide tea and coffee in the break. Anyone can book in for one or both, and it’s open to all ages. We’re encouraging attendees to bring along any tricky items and to ask questions, and learn about what happens to our waste. As everyone I meet from U3A is always so engaged and interested in learning more, I thought I’d pass on the information just in case there was anyone interested.
